We are looking for a Software Project Manager to lead and coordinate embedded software development activities across automotive projects. You will oversee project planning, resource allocation, and ensure software development aligns with product specifications, timelines, and budget. This role bridges technical leadership with people management, working closely with internal teams and customers to deliver high-quality solutions in a structured, process-driven environment.

Requirements

Must-Have

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
Candidates must be located in Europe
Minimum experience of 5 years managing software development projects in a high-tech industry, preferably automotive
Minimum experience of 3 years working in compliance with ASPICE processes
Experience with MS Project is a must
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, allocate resources, and deliver software builds on time and within budget
Experience in coaching software team members and aligning team performance with departmental goals
Understanding of embedded software development and ability to liaise with customers at both technical and conceptual levels
Ability to implement and improve design rules, gather lessons learned, and refine work methods for continuous improvement

Nice-to-Have

Experience with tools such as Enterprise Architect, Redmine/JIRA, and Tortoise SVN/GIT
Automotive background with knowledge of embedded display or driving board architectures
