Smarterminds is a fast-growing startup building intelligent software powered by advanced AI. Our flagship product, SmarterATS, is redefining how companies attract and hire talent. In parallel, we develop smarterapps, tailor-made AI solutions for external clients who want to automate processes, enhance decision-making, or integrate AI into their core operations.

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team as the lead designer for smarterATS and upcoming projects, including a mobile app. You will own design decisions, ensure consistency across products, and directly impact user experience and the growth of our product.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, define, and design features from start to finish across web and mobile platforms
Develop effective, visually appealing design solutions based on user research, insights, and best practices
Create, maintain, and evolve the design system and product patterns
Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure design alignment
Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions
Communicate design intent clearly through specs, prototypes, and presentations
Support and mentor junior designers, sharing knowledge and best practices as the team grows
Document design decisions, patterns, and components to maintain a company-wide design knowledge base

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), or Industrial Design
4+ years of professional UI/UX design experience
Expertise in mobile and web UX best practices across iOS, Android, and responsive web
Strong portfolio demonstrating web and mobile product design, usability, and visual creativity
Expertise in Figma, prototyping tools
Proven ability to create and maintain design systems
Excellent visual design, typography, and layout skills
Familiar with user research methodologies (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, etc.)
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
Fluent in English
Strong collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated proactivity, adaptability, and ownership
You must be based in Egypt and willing to commute to our office in Cairo, Sheikh Zayed.
